Logo
A hummingbird in mid-flight, leaning forward with lifted wings — agility, clarity, and quiet confidence. It reads instantly at small sizes, and it never plays the hero.
01Forms
Three forms, one bird
The logo exists in three forms depending on the context: the bird (our most compact asset and the face of the app), the wordmark ("Littlebird" set in Meraki, used alone at large scale — footers, hero visuals, covers), and the lockup (bird + wordmark, the primary brand signature for most brand-facing contexts).
02Color versions
Off Black or white, nothing else
The logo appears in Off Black on light surfaces and white on dark surfaces. These two versions ensure maximum legibility and consistency across every application — no gradients, no accent colors, no exceptions.
03Clear space
Room to perch
Keep a minimum clear space around every form. For the bird, the clear space equals ¼ of its height on all sides. For the wordmark and lockup, it equals the width of the "L". At large sizes the bird can breathe with slightly less; at small sizes give it more.
X is the width of the “L”. The dashed boundary is the minimum clear zone — no text, imagery, or competing marks inside it.
Measured against the wordmark set in Meraki, X works out to roughly 9.5% of the lockup's total width. Define it off the letterform, not off the percentage — the percentage changes if the lockup ever does.
04Minimum sizes
Never smaller than legible
| Form | Digital minimum |
|---|---|
| The bird | 50px wide |
| The wordmark | 70px wide |
| The lockup | 100px wide |
Below these sizes, drop to the next more compact form — lockup → wordmark → bird.
05Misuse
Do not
The logo's consistency is its authority. Avoid these treatments — and anything in their spirit.
